Debi Day has been an animal advocate for over nine years. She has done everything from rescues, rallies, to documentaries to get the word out about no kill. Through her company No Kill Nation she has been bringing awareness about the euthanization of boarded animals by shelters, and some organizations. When asked what is her favorite thing about her 4-legged pets Debi responded, -----------------------
"I think everyone should have a pet regardless of whether dog, cat, whatever. My dogs keep me grounded. My work can be pretty hard and involved, and I've seen horrible things that I can't un-see, and it's unfair. On the days when I'm feeding them, I look into their eyes. They are the reason I do what I do, and they are what keep me going. They are my motivation and my inspiration."
