Thanksgiving Holiday

So it's that time of the year again where you sit around the dinner table with family and friends, while the aroma of roasted turkey and pumpkin pie fills the air. You get the warm and fuzzies just being in the presence of those whom you love. Soon reality sets in, and you find yourself alone at your dinner table pondering what to do this holiday season. With hectic work schedules and the skyrocketing cost of travel, Thanksgiving is sometimes celebrated with only a hand full of people consisting of close, local friends or just you and your significant other.

Learn some tips on how to create a Thanksgiving spread for a group of four or a couple of two this holiday.

Follow these steps for stress free, and low-key Turkey Day.

Dinner for a small group of 4:

-Have a potluck styled dinner, and invite your guests to bring a dish that they like, that way no

one leaves unhappy.

-Select your menu ahead of time and have a grocery list ready before you hit the aisles at the supermarket. This cuts down on time spent perusing the aisles for ingredients.

-Not really a meat eater? Try a delicious vegetarian or vegan options that will thrill your guests. Get fresh produce and stock up on veggies and sides (beans, hearty dips etc.) for an enjoyable and healthy meal.

-Have mixed drinks and wine. Why not turn it up a couple of notches with some wine and spirits? Ask your guests to bring their favorite drink.

-Lastly, entertainment. Choose some movies via streaming or rent a few fun holiday classics like Home for the Holidays, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving or Dutch to name a few.
