One would figure that people who

have this condition would know that

they have it and would know it’s not paranorma activity. This is not the case

because people vary from having it often to once in a lifetime. It is common though. According to WebMD.com “Up to as many as four out of every 10 people may have sleep paralysis. This common condition is often first noticed in the teen years. But men and women of any age can have it. Sleep paralysis may run in families.” Reasons for sleep paralysis range from simple lack of sleep to medications and mental disorders.

So to sum up, Sleep Paralysis is a common condition where you’re stuck in a realistic nightmare-like state and your body is unable to move. The good news is that there are things you can do to prevent having this experience and can give this advice to any clients that may be experiancing Sleep Paralysis rather than actual paranormal activity.

•Wind down at least 30 min before bed by turning off all electronics.

•Do no eat large meals before bed and avoid caffine.

•Sleeping on your side (not your back)

•Try to stick to a sleep routine.

•Keep a journal of your dreams and write down all stressful things that you normally think about while trying to sleep to clear your head.
