A Night of Hotel Haunts
My curiosity got the best of me as I slowly sat
up in bed and looked around the room. I will
“never” forget what I saw in that moment. Sitting there on the end of the other bed, where
my team members were sleeping peacefully,
was a small, luminescent orange ball of light. I
sat staring, unmoving, un breathing, completely and utterly stunned by what was in front of
me. The light rested at the foot of the bed for a
few moments, and then suddenly zipped up into
the corner of the ceiling with such speed that
it was almost impossible to follow. As soon as
it reached that corner, it immediately bounced
across the room into the opposite corner, then
down to the floor, then up to the ceiling again…
all the while I am following it with my eyes,
whipping my head back and forth as it makes
its quick passage around the room. The way it
was moving was similar to a game of ping pong,
but with high-powered electric balls that travel
at the speed of light. At the time it seemed that
whoever encapsulated this spirit energy did not
notice that I saw them at the foot of the bed, and
once they did, had made an effort to lose my focus on them. I can still see the traces of orange
light in my mind to this day.
Since that night at the Mason House Inn, I have
retold this single most enlightening paranormal
encounter I have ever had to many ears, some
disbelieving, many intrigued. With all the types
of energy and spirits I encountered at the inn
that night, what struck me the most was the feeling of peace throughout the building, these are
spirits that want to be there, that want to share
their light with those of us still on this plane of
existence.
