Paranormal Investigator Magazine A Night of Hotel Haunts By Andrea Aplin If you are looking for a quaint bed-and-breakfast with a side of friendly spirit activity, look no further than the Mason House Inn. Located in small town Bentonsport, IA, the Mason House has become a top attraction for paranormal enthusiasts due to consistent reports of activity and interaction. As a birthday gift, I was given a chance to participate in the Ghost Hunter classes hosted by “the” renowned investigator Christopher Moon. However, tucked into one of the rooms for the evening, I was unaware that the most interesting and intense of my ghostly experiences would occur after the completion of the class. After classes were complete, my team and I headed up to Room 5 for the night. We had decided to turn in after spending some time taking many photographs, EVPs, and video evidence. Of course, “turning in” meant little for me—a chronic insomniac, especially when the room was practically “buzzing” with spirit activity. I took some time to review the photographs I had taken with my digital camera, and was stunned at the sheer number of bright, unmistakable orbs that permeated the room. Happy with my results, I decided to try to get some rest and shut out the lights. — 72 —
