Ghost Hunting 101 When first training any student the ghost hunting ropes I begin by first exposing them to death. Because while death is an inevitable part of life do many people find dealing with the ghost hunting aspect to be rather convenient where all you’re dealing with is the supposed ghost of someone who already died thus eliminating all the smell and gross visuals. In every field there will always be a right and wrong way of going about your business which includes even the paranormal field. It should be the goal of anyone with an interest in hunting ghosts that they do it in a professional and safe manner where everyone comes out a winner.  But in order to become a truly well-balanced and experienced ghost hunter must you also embrace and acknowledge the various aspects which are all a part of the death experience. And we do this by first making day trips to any local cemetery where they spend time walking amongst the graves in total silence while they read the writings on each stone where afterwards each student is required in sharing with us their impressions.  Until next time, stay haunted my friends. - Director J. Burkhart – Beyond-Dead.com  This concludes part one of this series.  And depending on how they feel and share in their thinking will provide us with vital clues as to whether we are dealing with a student who takes this field seriously, or is more interested in instant gratification and fame, or perhaps someone with emotional issues and thus would be more harmed from engaging in the pursuit of a ghostly encounter.  Not everyone can hack it in this field.  I have seen people go into a complete panic, which is never a pretty sight, where their behavior had instantly compromised the safety of the group and thus brought an end to what was meant to be an investigation or research endeavor. And thus the logic of beginning first time students begins to make sense while having them in an open cemetery during the day under far more controlled conditions as opposed to having a first timer notch up the drama meter by running off screaming into the night.  The purpose of this series of which we are calling Ghost Hunting 101 is to provide a free reliable source of information in the hope of making a difference within a paranormal field which has lost its focus while becoming commercialized and brutally competitive.   — 65 — Bio for Director J.
