Over the years I have seen all sorts of equipment
that people use change, sometimes as technology changes, sometimes because someone
has a new theory. I wanted to write this article
to share a little on equipment, some that you
have seen used in shows, some that you probably have and don’t even know you can use.
First let’s talk a little about using a compass, it’s
a very simple concept, some people believe that
in the paranormal field spirits, demons and cryptids can affect the magnetic field in an area, so
using a compass can detect these changes if
even for a short time. Now there are expensive
items you can buy to detect these changes, but
they are really no more effective than using a
compass. I have several that I put in with our
equipment and I will carry them around with me
and lay them out when I am doing an investigation, using them right along-side of the other
things that I use. 
Now many of us if not all have seen a K-ll  in
action on the TV shows, one of the things I like
to talk about in my lectures is using the K-II and
I also like to demonstrate how ineffective they
can be, and even how they can be manipulated.
