8. Eat and sleep well, avoid to much coffee, tea, alcohol, do not use drugs. This is an important time to be healthy as stress will impact your overall health. Take daily walks or exercise. Take a good multi vitamin and vitamins designed for stressful periods. Use meditation or other relaxation skills to aid in sleep.

9. Ask around for a good lawyer that

deals with cyfs cases and who is

prepared to fight them.

10. Know your rights and the rights of your child. Learn social workers codes of conduct etc and understand the different acts that will impact your case.

12. MOST IMPORTANTLY REMEMBER: Your goal now is to do all you can for your children. Be positive for them, smile even when you feel like crying. They may be just as frightened so let them know your ok, they are ok and life is different but still ok.
