PALM SPRINGS EATS:
Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
Dedicated to great views (one of only a few restaurants
with second floor balconies) and great times Grind Brgr
Bar (upstairs at 262 S. Palm Cyn) serves hormone-free,
antibiotic free, all-natural grass-fed beef burgers, special
sandwiches, delicious salads and other treats including
milk shakes, (some spiked), floats, martinis and a full
bar.
And, although Palm Springs has a decidedly casual
desert resort aura, there are several upscale/special occasion restaurants like Spencer’s (701 W. Baristo), The
Chop House (262 S. Palm Cyn), Citron at the Viceroy
(415 Belardo Rd.), and The Falls Prime Steakhouse
The Falls
(155 S. Palm Cyn) that attract less casual patrons. And
while The Falls dining room and second floor balcony may be one of the best venues for a romantic
dinner, you’ll experience a hip, casual atmosphere at their waterfall bar where they serve daily happy
hours along with their world-famous smoking martinis.
If you’re hungry for authentic European food, try Johannes (196 S. Indian Cyn) with a global
menu, Greek Islands Café (117 La Plaza) offering the only authentic Greek food in Palm Springs, and
Pomme Frite (256 S. Palm Cyn) for delicious Belgian beer and French food.
Craving Asian flavors? Consider Asian Bistro (362 S. Palm Cyn) for Thai, Chinese, and Japanese food,
Wang’s in the Desert (424 S. Indian Cyn) for Pan Asian cuisine, and Thai Smile ?2???F??7????F?R6????W6P??3p??
