name it! The further away from health someone is, the more time
and dedication it may take to get there, but by simply learning about
the impact, both negative and positive, that all food has on our
bodies, we’re helping to address an incredibly significant part of the
healing process.
So, you hear about Paleo on the news again and yet another “instudio expert” waxes poetic about how it’s certainly not sustainable,
it’s far too restrictive, it’s certainly too low in calcium and fiber and
really, it’s just another trendy fad.
Oh! The bane of my existence! To think how many people could
be helped if only they knew that none of the above statements are
accurate, and how simply choosing lots of fresh, local, seasonal
veggies and eating them with a good dose of avocados or coconut
oil, plus some wild salmon or grass-fed meat instead of whatever
other processed, packaged items they may be eating, could do
wonders for their body, mind and soul.
So how about a place that could offer education about the real
deal? Think of the original Weight Watchers in terms of group
support and how, in its inception (as opposed to now, when one can
use all of one’s daily points at McDonald’s and still be “on” the WW
diet), they taught members about portion sizes, how to eat proteins,
fats and veggies, and how to expect reasonable but sustainable
weight loss. Think about that—but from a Paleo bent.
That, my friends, is what the first Paleo Lifestyle Studio that I’ve
just opened in L.A. is all about.
One-on-one custom Paleo nutritional counseling. Free group
classes and lectures. Seminars. And it doesn’t stop there.
To make it really easy, I also offer downloadable menu plans.
From athlete to traveler, and from mom-to-be to busy executive,
there’s a plan to suit your needs!
Don’t like cooking? No worries there, either, as I’ve also
partnered with a nationwide Paleo fresh-food delivery company.
And what about going grocery shopping for kitchen basics?
Oh—I’ve got that covered, too, with the Paleoista Kits, offered in
conjunction with Barefoot Provisions.
Finally, in case you need a little help with meal ideas that might
not be as obvious as wild salmon and greens for dinner, my third

set of publications, a series of e-books geared toward what to eat
for breakfast, snacks and workouts, is available now on both iTunes
and Amazon. Yes, I’ve been a little busy over the past six months.
Not in L.A.? Not to worry. The downloadable plans, custom
counseling and nutritional consultations are available globally.
This first studio is something I’m regarding as a beta test. If all
goes as I’d like, it’ll be just the first of many.
How fantastic
