Los Angeles Ironmen –
Though they’ve been stuck solidly in the
middle of the Champions Division pack
in 2013, the Ironmen are never a team
that can be left off the list, especially at
World Cup. Ranked fifth in the world
heading into World Cup, the team
simply must be looking to finish a frustrating 2013 season on a higher note
than a seventh-place finish, two sixth
places and a fourth. Besides, a roster
that includes Marcello Margott, currently the top-ranked player in the world,
along with Alex Goldman, Steven Pitts
and longtime back-man Mike Paxson is
always a threat when they’re standing
at the other end of the field. Should
they, and coach Mike Hinman, decide
to put something spectacular together
for World Cup, the Dye factory team
could power the legendary Shield back
to the top of the podium.
