TOURNAMENT
As it always is, the vendor show at the
World Cup draws thousands, whether
playing or just shopping, to see all the
new equipment. The 2013 World Cup saw
numerous companies debut new products
(see our World Cup New Products feature
for details), including major sponsors like
Dye with the DM14, their new soft goods
and Box Rotor magazine for their DAM
tactical gun, GI Sports who showed off
the Bob Long Victus and VIS markers and
the impressive new Pulse RDR loader, new
custom Luxe 2.0 markers at the GOG/
Luxe booth and, perhaps most impressive
of all, the new Empire DFender tactical
marker featuring a hopper-less design that
placed the loader within the butt-stock of
the marker. HK Army showed off their new
KLR goggle system while Virtue, nearby,
also showed off a goggle, the VIO. Planet
Eclipse offered customers air conditioned
comfort along with new soft goods, the
amazing LV-1 Ego marker and a remarkable new GSL Geo. Tippmann came to the
World Cup in force, even bringing Greg
Hastings to show off his video game and
the new MOGA controller system enabling
anyone to play mobile games and apps
as they would on a console, with complete
control and an immersive feel, via their
mobile device!
