In handing me their latest goggle creation
at the 2013 World Cup, Tippmann’s
timing couldn’t have been any better,
as shortly thereafter it was time to head
to the hills of North Carolina for the always-amazing Fulda Gap scenario game.
This year, a thousand players came together to battle it out in sometimes-warm,
sometimes-chilly weather over rolling hills
and challenging terrain to see who might
have won the inaugural battle of World
War Three in Europe. While the weather
was pretty all weekend, pounding around
the hills of North Carolina on a cold
morning in a pile of clothes that winds up

in a warm afternoon while hundreds of
people shoot at each other sounds like a
challenge a substandard goggle couldn’t
handle without fogging or giving the
wearer a headache, and a quality goggle would step up to. Tippmann’s Intrepid

The Tippmann Intrepid offers all the
