and every year, it ruins lives and careers.
People need to remember that what we’re
all doing is playing Cops and Robbers,
Cowboys ‘n Injuns, it’s a bit of escapism
from everyday life. Players don’t want to
leave all the bullshit of family and work
behind to get to an event and have more of
the same. Players want to slap £50 on the
counter and be given a few days of gunfighting and beers with their mates, 99.9%
couldn’t care less about the politics.
there are so many cool things that can be
done with it the sky is the limit and we’re
enjoying pushing those limits as much as
possible.
Thanks Tim. Have a great 2014!
What separates Shoreline’s events from
others? Why should players attend your
events?
Our events are not designed to be the
cheapest. Nor are they designed to be the
biggest. In fact, the opposite.
Our events are designed to be the best….
and four years in a row of winning ‘UK
Game of the Year’ would seem to indicate
the players agree.
We don’t do ‘cheap’. We choose the best
venues, cap players down for the best game
numbers, invest in the best technology,
make the best marketing artwork and videos…..its all about quality not quantity and
our entire team of staff love every minute
of what we do.
We work hard together. We party hard
together. When things go wrong we go
through it together. We’re a young company, I’m the oldest here and I’m 36. Every
member of staff plays paintball and we can
all party like porn stars. We take risks and
are relentlessly positive.
But most of all…..we all love what we are
doing. I break the speed limit to get to
work each morning. Paintball is a cool
activity, it’s an awesome extreme hobby,
