54 Let the Games Begin Players began prepping for game day very early, some even camping out all night anxious for their story to begin. At check-in players were handed a players card which had all your characters information on it, and everything they needed for the game, including a map. I had the pleasure of running with Brigadier General Aaron “Headhunter” Bales and part of his team from Oklahoma D-Day, the 101st Pathfinders on the NCR side. When the game started commanding officer Joshua Klein and on the opposing side, Jonathan Seal spared no time getting started. Ready and waiting were teams waiting to pull security and run on long grueling missions for their teams. Just looking at these two very strong teams and leaders you knew it was going to be a great fight. Although watching these players band together to rise victorious was a great part of my weekend, the best part and the most interesting and greatest part of this game is watching the two teams in a heated firefight and 5 minutes later the game will be over and they will be walking side by side talking and laughing with one another. That is the best example of sportsmanship you can ever witness. Thank you to all of the staff and players February 2015 Viper events have always been known as a great time and great people. None of that would have been possible without the amazing staff of Viper and DFW Adventure Park. This event brought in all different kinds of teams and players. But at the end of the day they were all the same. Laughing, joking, sitting by a bon fire and telling their war stories for the day. So I think I speak for everyone by saying thank you to DFW Adventure Park and thank you to Viper for making this event a great one!
