88 Jerry Braun Photos By Pyrate Jim’s Bucket Not since 1996, has paintball seen hard core 10 player paintball played in the woods for big prize money by the top teams and players of the day. The 2014 Woodsball World Cup brought that golden age of competition paintball back to the field where the first four paintball World Cups were played in the early 90’s. Four 10 player teams and three 5 player teams ventured to Plattekill New York to play for $15,000 in cash and two thousand dollars in prizes, including the legendary All Americans led by Adam Gardner. Taking on the All A’s were Upstate Hate captained by Scott Caputo, an international team put together by Gino Postorivo august 2014 February 2013 dECEMBER2014 from Valken and led by A Train, and the Reservoir Dogs led by its Captain, Steve “Pretty Lou” Ruiz. The 5 player competition was comprised of two strong local teams, New Jersey Mutiny and MSG from neighboring Orange County, and one from the Boston area, Steele Reserve. The Master Blasters, one of the premier Old School Paintball Teams from the 80’s and 90’s, developers of Radio Zone judging, and considered to be the best Woodsball Tournament judges of that era, were the official refs, and, as usual, did a masterful job. In the 10 player competition, the All Americans showed that they hadn’t lost a step and locked up first place
