Wayne wrote and ran the first ever scenario game “Operation CIA” in 1985. That very first scenario game drew 38 participants. Wayne’s games were so successful early on that he was asked to take his show on the road and that he did. Wayne literally introduced the paintball playing world to a new kind of game, which has now blossomed into one of the largest in the paintball... role playing scenarios. It’s amazing to think a decade after the first game Wayne’s scenarios were drawing 1200-plus players. more than a dozen people in paintball right now that have more influence in the game than John does, and he uses it well. Giovanni D’Egidio and Dennis Bukowski - When the game of paintball was not even five years old Dennis founded Sat Cong Village (later known as SC Village) in Corona, California, which would quickly become one of the best known, busiest, and largest paintball fields in world. Often the focus of southern California paintball coverage in Action Pursuit Magazine (APG), SC Village was a breeding grounds for many of the top paintball teams and players throughout the 1980s and 90s. Later Giovanni (Gio) entered the picture and together he and Dennis have created a southern California magnet for paintball players with their SC Village fields, Hollywood Sports, Giant Paintball Fields and with their events like Decay of Nations games, Bear’s Cup, Cal Jam, and the various NPPL/PSP events they have hosted over the years.
