TOURNAMENT
The fight for the first place was hard and spectacular. From the beginning of the tournament you could already see which teams were strong contenders. Extreme Neapolis started with a 4-0 against Reservoir Dogs, same result for Scorpions who faced Black Shark. In the evening Naples guys beat Black Shark 4-2 and Decima 4-0 in the semi final. Milano’s own beat Reservoir Dogs and Black Shark 4-0 and Idols in semi final. Those results allowed both teams to advance to the finals. All players gave 100% to win first the point. That first point went to Extreme however Scorpions didn’t stop fighting and took two more points. Naples didn’t want to lose the match and came back to even up the score. Milano’s guys tried to stay alive, this strategy worked well. They conceded the point by calling the “towel” with only 54 seconds left on the clock. Naples became too aggressive and would lose three players handing the final point to Scorpions in over time. Division B was lead by the second team of Extreme Neapolis, Hallucinate from Tuscany, Alchemist from Rome and Apk from Lombardy. Although these guys played second division they showed high competencies and skills, resulting in amazing matches till the end of the event. The most exciting game was the final match between Alchemist, a newborn team – March 2013- against Hallucinate. Both teams received some penalties but Alchemist took the lead resulting in Hallucinate losing their concentration. The young team of Romans – the youngest guy is only 14 years old – took first place at their second official tournament. Nam Hoang says:” we couldn’t believe it! To get this point and win is really the most rewarding thing that could happen to us!”
