Paul YM Lam is the visionary and founder of
PALS (Paintball Asia League Series). His tireless efforts
to grow paintball are without question the highest
contributing factor in the expansion and growth of
paintball in Asia, and in particular, places like Malaysia,
Thailand, Philippines and Singapore. As the PALS World
Cup in Malaysia approaches we thought it would be a
good time to check in with Paul and get the details on
this amazing event.
PAUL, WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF PALS AND OF THE
PALS WORLD CUP?
PALS was formed in 2005 in Malaysia. It was formed to
organized international tournaments in the region of
Asia for the purpose of promoting paintball as a sport
with the goal of making it mainstream in the region in the
future. PALS is made up of both partners and promoting
partners. Partners being those who are hosting events
and promoting partners being those who are not ready
to host a full fledge one yet. It was formed out of a group
