BARRACK BATTLES, road control, and fort takeovers are all firefights you will get yourself into, but you may not be able to get yourself out of. The throw down takes place at BlastCamp in Hobart, Indiana, known as Red Strike which is produced by Viper Paintball every August. This past event held on the 15th and 16th took a lot of heart and soaked up a lot of microfiber cloths. Also, where there is Viper, there is a final battle involving color-controlled slapsticks red vs. blue. These rotating-color-control stations were straight from the devil this year! Brand new. You push too light and they don’t rotate. If you push too hard, then you just ran, got hit, and reminded the other side that their color still stands. Why? Because you just flipped the slapstick back to their color again by having it rotate too far. All you could do is look at your teammate and shake your head side to side slowly, with a smirk. Coming from a slapstick enthusiast, you had to earn that color, let alone stay alive. www.paintball.media 057
