made up of Alpha Dogs and Bounty Hunters ran the
tunnels and stopped the bugs from getting at least two
of their missions completed.
FINAL BATTLE
Going into the final battle, the Arachnids were still
ahead, but were going to have to defend key objectives
and protect the Brain Bug. Right on signal the troopers
pushed to gain control of the majority of the objectives
and within just a few minutes of the start of the battle
were able to capture the Brain Bug. As the battle raged,
the bugs pushed and the troopers lost ground. As the
minutes started counting down, the troopers formed
back up and in the last 5 minutes pushed the Bugs out
of the objectives for the final points, but would this be
enough to put the Roughnecks over the top for points
and the game or not? Because of the closeness of the
game, the points were tallied up three times by Ben
Torricelli and Scott Bolden. In the end the Arachnids had
4,100 points and the Roughnecks had 3,800 points. So
Klendathu was safe from the Mobile Infantry for the time
being, but they lost their Brain Bug. Will the troopers be
back to finish the job they started or will this be the end of
the battle between the Arachnids and the United Citizen
Federation? Only one person knows that answer, and he
is not talking (Ben Torricelli). For more information on
other games, please see www.bearclawpaintball.net or

HELPING OTHERS
As a side note to the game, Bear Claw Paintball,
MPP, and other paintball players are helping to
raise money for the family of Robert ‘Milkshake’
McEntyre.
Milkshake was diagnosed with
stage 4 cancer in his kidneys. Robert is one of
the greatest players known to paintball in the
South. He helped introduce players to paintball,
helped to teach to play with honor, and helped
others with fundraisers. You would know Robert
by the cow costume he wore to play paintball.
Whereever you saw white with black spots, that
was Robert.
At this game, Bear Claw and MPP had patches
made up for Project Milkshake to sell to raise
money for Robert’s family. The starting price
for the patches was $5 and people actually paid more
to help Robert out. During the prize drawing at the end
of the game, Green Hat from Black Karma won a the
new marker from Tippmann and immediately started an
auction for the marker with the money going to Project
Milkshake. For more information on helping Project
Milkshake, you can contact Bear Claw Paintball or go to
Project Milkshake on Facebook. • • •
