How many players does the event usually have?
We have had around 1500 players in the last years on
average, but we aim at the 2000 and higher.
How many players are you expecting this year?
I think it is realistic to say that we can reach our goal of
2000 players.
What is your role in the game?
I’ve played many roles in the EuroBigGame. I started as a
regular player, later on worked in the trade show and now
I am a part of the EuroBigGame [organization]. There is
a lot of work around the event. I take care of the Facebook
page, do some of the graphics that are later printed and
–for example- handed out as a tactical map later. I also
work together with the team leaders of our units and
when the event finally starts, I am in the command center
where we guide the game, handing out missions and
sending units around the field.
What are some of the things that make the
EuroBigGame great?
The feeling. This is the answer you will get from every
visitor. It’s four days of paintball and every night you can
have a party and make new friends. Never been to the
EuroBigGame before? All alone? Doesn’t matter, the
EuroBigGame visitors are a big international family. There
is also the trade show, where you can find paintball shops
and make some great deals, but also a caterer (with cold
