Tippmann released their new line of full electropneumatic markers, and boy they are cool! We got the chance to get the MP2 Elite before they are released to the public to try out and let you know how it is before you buy it! While I will not spoil everything in the first part of this review, I will tell you it is well worth the money. These markers are $299.95, so not only is it reliable, but it is affordable! So let’s talk about the aesthetics of this marker. This gun is a sleek, tactical looking marker with top picatinny rails to add your own accessories and make it your own. These guns come stock with the APEX2 barrel with shroud, which makes it look really cool! Some people like the APEX barrels, some don’t. It really just depends on the player. This marker has dual eyes, as well as a ton of different firing modes. The firing modes include semi, burst, ramping, and full auto. The eyes help prevent paintballs from chopping, and they actually really do help! This gun also comes with a newly designed rip clip. This paired with the APEX2 barrel system makes for a very great setup. The gun also comes with an Empire Rip Clip Loader. Now we will talk about the feel and ease of maintenance on this marker. It feels and looks like any other Tippmann you will find; durable and high quality. The gun has a durable stainless steel bottom-line hose, as well as an adjustable telescoping shoulder stock. This is important because everyone’s body shape and size is different! This gun is very quiet in the woods. You can easily sneak up on players in the field. The trigger ease is also one of the favorites on this marker. It is easy to pull, but not too easy. There is hardly any recoil and is lightweight, making it a great gun for beginners and younger players. It is also very easy to maintenance. Both the Rip Clip and the Stryker itself is very manageable when it comes to breaking it down for cleaning or maintenance. With very little screws, and easily accessible internals; making this gun very beginner friendly as well. The Stryker’s all come with extra O-rings as well as back up screws, Allen keys, and everything you need to maintenance and replace the www.paintball.media 053
