Legends
Series
While the closing of the historic home of Living Legends, CPX, saddened
many in paintball, the Living Legends game has not only lived on, but
thrived and turned into a series of scenario games across the US and that
continues for 2019, with numerous games held from east to west! Six
total Legends games will be held in 2019 at locations from the Carolinas
to Hawaii, starting in North Carolina in March with Bones and Ashes at
Black Ops in Fayetteville, not far from Fort Bragg. Dreaded Legends will
move south, but not far at all, in early April as the game will be hosted
at Black Ops’ newly constructed facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,
which hasn’t seen a large scenario presence in a few years, since
Adventure Beach Paintball ceased operations and ended their “Road to
Know Ends” game that for many in the region was a season-opener. In
May, Living Legends 12 will be promoted and this game, too, will move,
this time from Hell Survivors in Michigan to Legacy Paintball Park near
Chicago, Illinois. Hawaiian Legend will be played for its second year in
Maui in July before the Legends crew comes back to the mainland and
across the country to OXCC Paintball Park on the Maryland/Delaware
border for Endless Legends, fast-becoming a regional favorite. While
on the calendar, Dead Legends is TBD at this time. That’s quite a season
for Legends games and is enough to keep many teams and traveling
scenario players busy in and of itself so plan those vacation days (and
sick days, cough cough) well!
