Again, the ample ventilation and
generous and comfortable neckline cut of
the UNDR SERE jersey were appreciated
as it allowed uninhibited movement,
plenty of hot air to escape and cool air
to come in, and the thicker, more heavy-
weight forearm areas allowed for crawling
without snagging or damage to the
jersey and should hold up well. Wearers
who order true-to-size may find the fit a
little snug especially over pads and other
protective clothing, and may want to
work with UNDR owner Chris Rangel to
ensure proper sizing or even moving up
a size larger than other brands to ensure
comfort and a little baggy bounce factor.
By the time we finished our push and
came off the field, my headband and
the foam of my goggles were drenched
in sweat, my tshirt was dripping and
everything underneath my pack was,
well, swampy. My SERE jersey was dry
and was a huge factor in keeping me
from overheating on the field on that hot
summer day. No ripping, tears or other
issues were found with either my SERE
jersey or the prototype RECON pants
UNDR sent for testing, throughout a day
spent running, kneeling, crawling and
creeping through everything from rocky
dirt to soft mud and plenty of woods with
prickly, sticky underbrush looking to grab
ahold of a player’s gear. Bottom line? I
was able to play all day, not pass out from
heat exhaustion (or worse) and not worry
about my gear, leaving me to focus on
doing unto others before they did unto
me – truly my favorite part of the game.
For serious paintball players looking for
durable, comfortable semi-or-fully custom
clothing to play their paintball in, UNDR
has been a great choice for a while and
their new RECON pants and SERE jerseys
will only add to their repertoire. Whether
in the woods or inside the net, UNDR
is worth a good look and their product
continues to improve with each iteration.
