The second and final day of Endless Legends started and ended like the first, with a hard- fought, paint slinging battle! The Illuminati were not going home and they were not backing down! Field sides were switched, markers were chrono’d and the fight was on! Templars jumped out to a comfortable spot to control Tippmann Town but we’re soon pushed back in to their own territory by the Illuminati masses! Illuminati also jumped out with strong control of the magnificent castle! They were not to be tested; their unstoppable spirit and fight showed throughout the day. They captured the castle and would not release it, thwarting attempt after attempt to stop Templar pushes and missions. The Illuminati owned that second day and chipped away at the lead. A lead that was virtually non-existent going into final battle. The stage was set for the final battle—one that would again be the type of game-ending 86 paintball.media magazine battle Legends is best known for. The setting was Tippmann Town, a gun slinger’s paradise. The goal is five slapsticks in the center of the field, if you dare! The prize is eternal glory as winner of the first Endless Legends! We received the speech from our General, we knew the mission. We needed the slapstick to win… go big or go home empty handed. The horn sounds, the paint flies and the runners are off. Illuminati jumps to an early control of the field, gaining a majority of the slapsticks. Templar didn’t stop. They dug in and kept fighting as one slapstick after another turned red. With no hills, just bunkers to shield you it was a true test of a legend, to change the stick to your color. In talking with a teammate amongst the firefight, we knew what we had to do.
