This whole experience was truly one-of-a -kind and it could never have happened without the various staff that were the foundation of such and amazing event. The event started with the Templars, led by Ryan Sexton, and the Illuminati, led by Ryan Cook. After months of planning, the gathered masses were ready to prove who was the worthiest. Generals and XOs were ready to direct the fight and warriors ready to storm the field. Much to observer’s delight the first true initial battle took place in Tippmann Town as the Illuminati took the first push through the town to shut down the rush of the Templar horde. Taking the Castle and controlling part of the town was the goal. The battle for Tippmann Town and the battles for the castle continued throughout the first day, though the Templars proved successful as midday they stormed the castle and never relinquished control! The missions were complex, spanning different parts of the field; missions that lead to codes, codes unlocking boxes, and boxes leading to puzzles. A puzzle, one in particular, that was given only one hour to solve, was finally cracked by Templars with less than a minute remaining. As the first day of battle came to a conclusion it saw the Templars with a comfortable lead, a margin that they soon wished they still had. 84 paintball.media magazine
