Has it been a year already? On September 24th a ragtag bunch of misfits gathered in Hobart, Indiana at Blastcamp Paintball and Airsoft. The reason for the gathering was ODIL’s MFOG 12. For those of you who are not familiar, ODIL stands for “Operational Detachment Illinois.” The OD project has groups around the country from the west coast to the Midwest and these guys do magfed right. So here on this unnaturally warm September morning we gather to see old friends and new alike to play some magfed paintball. With over 60 pre-registered players and many more waiting in line, this turned out to be the biggest MFOG in the Midwest to date. Magfed being the small community that it is today feels more like a family gathering as opposed to a game that later in the day will pit most of us against one another. These games start the same way almost every time. It’s a team death-match to get the blood pumping and after that is when things get interesting. www.paintball.media 103
