The Millennium Series opening event of the
2017 season was once again held in beautiful
Puget-sur-Argens in the south of France. After
last year’s one-off Barcelona, Spain opening
event, the league brought the Med Cup back to
its familiar location in Puget-su-Argens. with the reassembled fan-favorites Joy Division,
who are playing on the pro CPL division. Archie
Montemayor of San Antonio X-Factor in the U.S.
is playing with the Toulouse TonTons this season.
You may remember Archie played with Breakout
Spa the past two years in Europe.
TEAMS
L ast year’s pro CPL (Champions Paintball AND…
League) title winners Edmonton Impact are
back in Europe for the 2017 season. Houston
Heat will not be playing the Millennium Series
this season. Max Lundqvist, who played with
the Scorpions Milano last year is back in 2017
The weather… oh the weather. This first
Millennium Series event always runs the risk of
being cold and/or rainy. This year it was both.
As miserable as it was at times, especially in the
mornings, it was definitely playable. And there
was even some sun. So the games went on as
