Euro Biggame, May 25-28
If playing paintball for three days on a former
Soviet Union Airbase with real airstrips, hundreds of
abandoned buildings, trenches and woods about
90 minutes from Berlin, Germany doesn’t sound like
fun you’re probably reading the wrong magazine.
For the rest of you this game, held at Mahlwinkel
Air Base is truly epic, one of the biggest games in
Europe every year and a must-attend game. Oh, and

Oklahoma D-Day – 20th Anniversary –
June 12-17
For 19 seasons Oklahoma D-Day has been not only
one of the best paintball games in the world, it is
far and away the best D-Day related scenario game
held anywhere –and there are many. From the actual
watercraft landing and attacking of the German held
fortifications on the hill, to the battles at Coleville
Church, the night game, the daily mini-scenarios with
up to 1000 players this is a bucket list event if there

Skirmish ION, July 14-16
Skirmish USA’s Invasion of Normandy (ION) is also
a D-Day themed event. Although it doesn’t have
the realism of Oklahoma D-Day it does have a
good storyline, in-depth role playing and it is easily
the largest game in the U.S. if not the world, with
as many as 3,800 players on site. Held at one of
the longest running paintball fields in the world in
Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, this 300-plus acre
playing facility is simply amazing, with castles, forts,
tranches and every other terrain imaginable.
