have to select primary and secondary jersey
colors proprietary to their franchise and stick
with them throughout the season, bringing
primary and alternate main-color jerseys to
each event.
Edmonton Impact, the 2017 World Cup and
series title winners, started their 2018 season
they way they finished 2017, with a win at
the five-man Winter Classic. Their roster
remains one of the best in the professional
game and they are clearly the team to beat.
The team shows no sign of leaving their G.I.
Sportz major sponsor and will likely continue
shooting Eclipse markers with LVL loaders
atop. Tampa Bay Damage, the second-
ranked pro team coming out of 2017, will
continue with Luxe markers and Virtue,
while third-ranked San Antonio X-Factor
picked up Nick Slowiak from Aftershock
and Jesse Stephens from AC: Dallas, and
will reportedly also remain with sponsors to
include Empire and Eclipse. The team may
be switching hoppers, however, as the team
may switch from their Dye Rotors to the G.I.
LVL. Moscow Red Legion made a big change
for 2018, moving away from gear sponsor HK
to become a head-to-toe Dye team while
Fabrice Colombo and Axel Gaudin will move
back to fulltime with their French team, the
TonTons. HK gained a top-level pro-team
during the shakeup season, however, as
Houston Heat made the switch and will join
legendary San Diego Dynasty wearing HK for
the upcoming season. Speaking of Dynasty,
their offseason saw Kyle Spicka head back
