Oklahoma D-Day, June 11-16
Admittedly Oklahoma D-Day is not as large as
it once was. What once was a game that drew
more than 2,000 players (sometimes a lot more)
consistently, now draws 1,200 or so—still a very
large game. But one thing that hasn’t changed in
its 21 year history is that this game is so well done,
so realistic, so true to the story of D-Day, that it
will never be topped. From the true water landing
and “storming the beaches” to start the game,
to the attack on Colville Church, to the amazing
battlefields all over the incredible park, to the night
game (with fireworks, flares, and other amazing
pyro) Oklahoma D-Day is truly spectacular. And
we’ve not even mentioned the midweek daily mini
scenario games (with 200-500 players), the trade
show, the nightlife, the camping, and the special
events. Visit www.ddaypark.com for more info.
