One of the things you don’t notice when
you’re gearing up to play your first game of
a major paintball event is the weather, unless
it’s disastrous of course. Rain, wind and cold
can ruin even the best planned events. But
not this one. For this last weekend in January,
2018, the weather was about as perfect as
you’ll ever see—with a mix of clouds and sun
and daytime temps ranging from the mid-
70s to the low-80s. Perfect!
On Saturday OP Nasty Boys, CP Raiders and
Xtreme got off to hot starts, each scoring 300-
plus points in their five games. Sacramento
DMG and D3FY were close behind. Sunday
was more of the same, with four of the five
teams mentioned above making it to the
podium (D3FY did not play Sunday). In the
end it was Sacramento DMG taking first
place. They were followed by CP Raiders,
Xtreme and OP Nasty Boys.
