Strike Harder productions held its annual
magfed paintball event on April 14th and
15th 2018 at Apocalypse Paintball in Poynette
Wisconsin. For the past few years they have
asked me to general a side for this epic
struggle and this year I was available to join
them! Apocalypse paintball is a really nicely
built wooded field with tons of structures
including forts, castles, sniper towers, and
even a pit area where you sneak around
halfway underground with holes where you
can shoot out at ground level.
This scenario was magfed with allowances
for players with stock class feeding systems
so you had pump players, as well as players
using speedball markers with stick feeders
to limit their ammo making it a very inclusive
magfed event where everyone had limited

paint. It also allowed first strike rounds
(FSR) so many magfed players only used
them (including myself). The weather was
crazy for this event, and halfway through
the event the players renamed it from
Firestorm to “Snowpocalypse”. We had
ice falling most of the day on Saturday, but
that didn’t stop players from battling hard
all day! Many magfed markers went down
so backups were brought out as playing in
below freezing weather is a different animal
than playing in warmer temperatures. I was
using my Tippmann TCR for most of the day
Saturday. Peter Gloudeman AKA Pistol Pete
from Youtube was my field commander and
he lent his marker to his room mate who
came along and borrowed my Tipx with his
custom 20 round 3D printed mags (pics on
