But the Expendables Feilding beating Moscow Red Legion again in the quarterfinals is breaking news and that’s exactly what happened. MLKings gave everything they had against Houston Heat but came up a point short and Edmonton Impact easily beat PPArena Pilsen 6-1. The Pro Xball semifinals were just incredible. Houston Heat and the Expendables played a low scoring game where every move could either push your team to the finals or send them home. In the end Houston Heat did the pushing, sending Expendables home one match earlier than they wanted with a 2-1 win. But what an event for the first time pros from New Zealand! In the corresponding Pro semifinal Match it was another great one, with Edmonton Impact just getting by the TonTons 5-4. 034 paintball.media magazine And here we are in the finals with Houston Heat versus Edmonton Impact—the matchup many would have predicted. But each had to scratch and claw their way to the final round as no one rolled over for these guys. As the fog rolled in early this Sunday morning it just felt like a big day for pro paintball. The match started and it was Impact taking the early lead but Heat would answer quickly. The entire match was back and forth with neither team being able to pull away. And with one minute to go Houston Heat had a 4-3 lead but Impact pushed back to tie it up (after some confusion and a Fedorov penalty). The match went to overtime and in this one-on-one it was Chad George stepping up big time for Houston Heat, getting the elimination and the big win for Houston Heat!
