In the quarterfinals the Expendables once again got back to form with another 4-0 shutout, this time over Ranger Warsaw. In the semifinals Cologne Hurricanes gave them all they could handle but they still managed a 5-3 win. In the finals it would be the Expendables Feilding versus Bad Boys Oss—but again the competition would not even give the Expendables a scare. In the end it was the Expendables 5, Bad Boys Oss 1. Sunday games and never lost. On the way to their first place victory they beat Dynamix Metz, Red Storm Moscow 2, Phoenix St Petersburg, Ghosts Podhale, FiveStar Lleida 3, STK Perth and Brussels Heat in the finals. Like the Expendables Feilding, Ecuador’s Galapagos Tortugas won their Millennium Series opening event in France—in Division Two. And like the Expendables, the Galapagos Tortugas ran through their division like a hot knife through butter. Of their seven games in Germany they never lost and their combined score was 25-1. That’s some serious domination. Back to back wins for the Galapagos Tortugas. In Division One Consilium Dei Zurich got off to a very disappointing start to their 2017 season with a 25th place finish in France. Anyone that follows European paintball knows these guys are much better than that and they proved it, running through the Division Three’s Bad Russians didn’t play preliminary rounds without a single loss. And France, so they probably weren’t on anyone’s that set the tone for them as they played four radar for the European Masters. www.paintball.media 075
