Editor’s note: For ten consecutive years
Living Legends was held at the iconic and
now closed CPX Paintball (Challenge Park
Xtreme) in Joliet, Illinois. If you’ve never
been to CPX you missed playing at one of
the world’s best paintball fields. With the
field now closed the staff at CPX Events
took their yearly must-attend game, Living
Legends, to another iconic field—one that’s
been running amazing games for nearly 34
years—Hell Survivors in Pinckney, Michigan.
And Dave Massey, his staff and their field did
not disappoint.)
Saturday, Day One of Living Legends 11
something I was most excited about. I had
never visited this field before but knowing
they have hosted tons of popular big games
and scenario games before I knew I was in
for a treat.
I first arrived to the field bright and early,
around 0900. I had to park in what they called
the Lumber Yard, which was a decent walk to
where I had to go. I met up with Zac Arbuckle
to check in and receive my media pass and
then I was off to check out the vendors. There
were a lot more vendors than I thought there
would be, including Valken, Ninja Paintball,
Dye Paintball, TC Paintball, Cru Paintball,
Exalt Paintball and many more.
It was cool Saturday morning as I drove
into Pinckney, Michigan. Living Legends XI After checking out all the Living Legends
was upon us and I was ready for whatever it swag and new things from the vendors it was
threw at me. Arriving at Hell Survivors was about time for the opening ceremonies
