But the quarterfinals would be the end of
the line for both of these teams as Revo lost
to ac: Dallas 6-2 and Tampa Bay Damage
lost to Edmonton Impact 6-4. In the battle
of Texans, Houston Heat won a hard-fought
game against San Antonio X-Factor 6-4 and
Moscow Red Legion cruised past San Diego
Dynasty 6-0. The Pro finals were again incredibly tight.
The back and forth battle between the two
hottest teams in paintball went to Houston
Heat again as they beat Edmonton Impact
in the finals by a single point in back to back
major events—here in Texas and in Chartres,
France last month. What a start to the season
for Houston Heat!
In the Pro Xball semifinals Edmonton Impact
did what they always seem to do—just
enough to win and advance—and they did
it once again besting Moscow Red Legion
7-6. The other semifinal game once again
pitted two Teams from Texas and once again
Houston Heat came out on top, this time
sending ac: Dallas home 4-2. San Diego Aftermath came into Texas as the
prohibitive Semiprofessional favorite after
their dominating performance and win in Las
Vegas. In the Texas Open preliminary rounds
they did nothing but continue looking
dominant. In fact in their four opening round
wins their combined score was a ridiculous
18-1.
