the players stayed. At that time the Bounty Hunters’
radio went off, and we thought they would hear it, but
some how they did not. Once the Freemen players
started to thin out, we moved around to get a better view
and were able to take a few stragglers out. Through the
whole thing, I thought everyone on the field had heard
my heartbeat.
After the dinner break and the sun setting, we saw the
gathering of players for the night beach landing that
has came to be part of the Game of Thrones series.
Players advanced on the wall trying to take it over. The
battle lasted about two hours with no side being able
to claim victory. Some players, after the battle, decided
to use the pyres to their advantage and setup up chairs
to cook hotdogs for their supper. I should have thought
about s’mores.
As dawn broke through on Sunday morning, the players
slowly came out of their tents and gearing up for a big
push to the final battle of the day. The Freemen were
determined to keep their lead and make it bigger, while
the Tyrell were determined to gain the lead back and take
the game. The Tyrell came out strong and took over the
majority of the field and ran their missions and kept the
Freemen from some of theirs. As the day drew near to
the final battle, the Tyrell closed the gap on points and
it would come down to the final battle to determine the
winner of this game. During the final battle, both sides
had to control key points on the field. Throughout the
final battle, the Tyrell kept pushing on the Freemen’s
base in order to gain control of the key objectives. This
push stayed constant until the very end. Unfortunately,
the push was not strong enough and the Freemen were
able to capture one objective and win the game. The final
score was Tyrell – 4,100 and the Freemen – 4,400.
Other events that went on during the weekend were a
costume contest and a one on one tournament called
the King’s Tournament. Harold Fein from Body Count
won the costume contest and Jason Guy won the one
on one tournament. During the awards ceremony, Chip
Hudson and the Chilton County Predators came off with
some of there own awards to handout to those that
