the players stayed. At that time the Bounty Hunters’ radio went off, and we thought they would hear it, but some how they did not. Once the Freemen players started to thin out, we moved around to get a better view and were able to take a few stragglers out. Through the whole thing, I thought everyone on the field had heard my heartbeat. After the dinner break and the sun setting, we saw the gathering of players for the night beach landing that has came to be part of the Game of Thrones series. Players advanced on the wall trying to take it over. The battle lasted about two hours with no side being able to claim victory. Some players, after the battle, decided to use the pyres to their advantage and setup up chairs to cook hotdogs for their supper. I should have thought about s’mores. As dawn broke through on Sunday morning, the players slowly came out of their tents and gearing up for a big push to the final battle of the day. The Freemen were determined to keep their lead and make it bigger, while the Tyrell were determined to gain the lead back and take the game. The Tyrell came out strong and took over the majority of the field and ran their missions and kept the Freemen from some of theirs. As the day drew near to the final battle, the Tyrell closed the gap on points and it would come down to the final battle to determine the winner of this game. During the final battle, both sides had to control key points on the field. Throughout the final battle, the Tyrell kept pushing on the Freemen’s base in order to gain control of the key objectives. This push stayed constant until the very end. Unfortunately, the push was not strong enough and the Freemen were able to capture one objective and win the game. The final score was Tyrell – 4,100 and the Freemen – 4,400. Other events that went on during the weekend were a costume contest and a one on one tournament called the King’s Tournament. Harold Fein from Body Count won the costume contest and Jason Guy won the one on one tournament. During the awards ceremony, Chip Hudson and the Chilton County Predators came off with some of there own awards to handout to those that www.paintball.media 67
