Does a 2019 Announcement
For a 2020 Event Count?
There’s still one gaping hole in tournament paintball. We have two-man, three-man,
five-man, ten-man, woodsball tournaments, mechanical only events, mounds fields
events, amateur only leagues, pro/am events…. You get the point. So where’s the
hole, you ask? The industry and the game is still missing that one big amateur only
event. It’s missing the one event where winning still means something. There are many,
many good amateur leagues and events, but nothing that measures up to events like
the IAO of the past.
Prediction:
We may be living in the past but we’re predicting that a major
standalone amateur event will be announced in 2019 for the 2020 season.
