D-Day for D-Day?
In its heyday Oklahoma D-Day was not only the coolest paintball
game on the planet, it was one of the bigger games in the world.
Seven days of amazing paintball games, culminating with the
Saturday morning beach assaults with 2500 players on the field was a sight to behold
and an amazing thing to be a part of. And to be honest, the game is as great now as
it ever was… minus the player numbers. And that’s a big “minus.” Why is this game
losing its numbers? Poor marketing. Dewayne and company, we love your game,
we love your heart for this event. But “word of mouth” marketing just doesn’t cut it
anymore.
Prediction:
: Just typing these words hurts. We’re predicting this once proud
game will lose its critical mass in 2019 and fall into the “it’s just another scenario
game” category.
