electronic markers like Egos, Geos, LV’s, Vanquishes and Axes, I never felt outgunned, a testament to the GMek’s performance and capabilities. After an epic event shooting the Eclipse GMek, all I had to do to hand the prototype back to Eclipse was wipe the splatter off outside of the marker off and take my tank, hopper and barrel back off. No broken paint. The gun went bang every time I pulled the smooth, crisp slider trigger and the gun was light, easy to handle, quiet, accurate and consistent. Some people spend hundreds or even thousands to build their own epic Autococker or Automag exactly the way they want it, tuning for their exact desires, preferences and style of play. Others simply want to swipe the card, gear up and go shoot people with a great piece of paintball equipment. The beauty of the Eclipse GMek is its ability to deliver tournament-level performance with a crisp, smooth slider trigger that’s able to satisfy serious mechanical aficionados or those who just want to buy a great marker that doesn’t need batteries and go play. The toughest part of my 2017 Fulda Gap event with the GMek was the long walk back to see Chris at the Eclipse tech booth and return it. When they hit, I’ll have one, and that’s coming from a guy who owns a wall full of Automags and another wall full of Autocockers. www.paintball.media 0119
