The refreshing part of all of this was the
insane love and appreciation for the game
in this region. No one complains about
schedules or little details, they are just happy
to have an awesome event. They stay all
day and ask a million questions. They show
you hospitality like family and appreciate
any and all positive, social interactions.
Smack talk is friendly and you can feel
the respect and community feeling all
around you.
my teammates Ceelos and Tim and a bunch
of other good friends and we all added a
passport stamp of a memory we can’t ever
forget!

My team ended up losing in quarterfinals
by one point to the Titans with guest
player Greg Siewers. They played
outstanding and ended up winning
the event, so congrats to my buddy
Greg and his team. All in all I felt I left
a winner anyways. I left with some gold
in the form of a TJ All-stars headband,
some coins to collect, cool souvenirs
and an entourage of crazy new friends I
now consider my Mexican Familia! I got
