They then embark on an unrealistic exercise regime that leaves them dispirited and often injured in a matter of days or weeks. Finally, if you have a friend who wants to get trimmer, why not join forces and exercise together? It is much more fun and inspiring than setting off to a multigym on your own for a workout. It’s great to want to get fit for your wedding but try to keep a sense of perspective about this. Set yourself realistic goals and fit exercise in whenever possible, e.g. getting off the bus a few stops early and walking the rest of the way or taking the stairs instead of the lift.
