than £350 in six
months to Langdale
and Ambleside Mountain
Rescue Team, from the sales
of his two crime novels set in
the Lake District. Both novels
have strong outdoor themes,
including fell-running, mountain
walking and mountain rescue.
The Bad Step and In the Cold of
the Night are both published
by Gritstone Publishing Co-
operative, Britain’s first
authors’ co-operative focusing
specifically on outdoor titles,
and can be obtained through
www.gritstone.coop or from
bookshops.
Both books are also
available as e-books for
Kindle readers. Andrew has
undertaken to contribute 45p
for each paperback or e-book
sold, to support the work of
the Langdale and Ambleside
Mountain Rescue Team.
