Charl Brown

Charl Brown recently completed a six-month stint on London ’ s West End reprising his roll as Smokey Robinson in Motown : The Musical , for which he was nominated for a 2013 Tony Award for best featured actor in a musical on Broadway . He is also featured on the Grammy-nominated original Broadway cast recording . Mr . Brown played Captain Laurent in the world premiere of Ever After at The PaperMill Playhouse in New Jersey . In 2014 Mr . Brown worked with legendary composer / lyricist Steven Schwartz playing the roll of Adam / Noah in the Children of Eden in Concert at the Kennedy Center . Other credits include Jersey Boys and Sister Act on Broadway . Off Broadway , he appeared in Walmartopia . He has toured in Europe with Hair and appeared in the Las Vegas production of Jersey Boys . Regional credits include Johnny Baseball at the American Repertory Theatre , Dreamgirls at San Diego Musical Theater , The Wiz at La Jolla Playhouse and Star Wars Trilogy in 30 Minutes at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival . On television , Mr . Brown has been seen on “ America ’ s Got Talent ,” the 85 th & 87 th Macy ’ s Thanksgiving parades , the 63 rd Annual Tony Awards and “ A Capitol 4 th ” in 2013 . Mr . Brown graduated from the University of Southern California School of Theater .

Matthew Scott is fresh off his run as Adam Hochberg in An American In Paris on Broadway . Other Broadway credits include Sondheim On Sondheim starring Barbara Cook and Vanessa Williams , A Catered Affair , Jersey Boys and The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas ( Actors ’ Fund ). His Regional credits include The Light In The Piazza at the Philadelphia Theatre Company , for which he won the Barrymore Award for Best Supporting
