This was a free, family-friendly event, joining Cap'n Kidd and his crew as they sailed into Milford Harbor at Lisman's Landing aboard the pirate ship Oz, to be greeted by Mayor Benjamin G. Blake, and "take over" downtown Milford.
The Cap'n Kidd Treasure Hunt Pirates Day is presented by the Downtown Milford Business Association. People come dressed pirates to become part of the state's best and largest scavenger hunt!
Participants picked up a free downtown Treasure Map, a strand of pirate beads, and a booty bag starting at Lisman Landing (or by the Gazebo), then followed their own path to Treasure Stop Shops. Those who solved each 'clue', and got all locations stamped, qualified
