Kicking Off Safe Boating Week:
United States Coast Guard Open House at Sector Long Island Sound
ISITORS HAD AN OPPORTUNITY to learn about aids to
navigation, visit with "Coastie" the robot tugboat, observe kayak and paddlecraft safety demos, climb aboard USCG patrol vessels, and visit Coast Guard Auxiliary and partner agency displays. Cafe SECLIS offered barbeque cuisine before a stop to shop at the Coast Guard exchange.
