COGA II's crew transitions to a side tow as the sky darkens and night begins to fall.
On 1 September, COGA II from Flotilla 07-02, on routine patrol from Norwalk CT under the command of coxswain Bernard Camarro, responded to a call from a disabled yellow-hull 18-foot vessel with 3 POB reportedly out of gas. The vessel was towed safely from mid-Long Island Sound to Bridgeport harbor.
The patrol's sailing list included Robert Talley, Kevin Smith, Patrick Alarcon, Carol Saar, and Ezra Williams.
