LOUIS DILEO, FSO 22-07, Principal Trumpet U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Band "The Commodore's Own", played Taps for ceremonies, 35th Anniversary Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Washington, D.C.
DiLeo from D1SR was selected as one of four military trumpeters to render Taps for the "Reading of the Names" ceremony of 58,000 Vietnam Veterans whose names are inscribed on the Memorial. The reading took four days, concluding each night at midnight with Taps.
